Frequently asked questions about getting started with DAIOTA, vehicle data, Fleet and Insurance Intelligence.

01

Getting started

Who is DAIOTA for?
DAIOTA is designed for organizations managing vehicle fleets and insurance teams reviewing vehicle behavior evidence. The right scope depends on your operational goals, available data and review process.
How do we start a pilot?
Start with a conversation about your use case, fleet or program scope, and available telemetry. Together we can define a bounded pilot, review data readiness and agree on evaluation criteria before expanding.
What should we prepare for a demo?
Share your organization, your interest in Fleet or Insurance, an approximate vehicle or program scope, and the questions you want to answer. Please avoid sending raw telemetry or sensitive customer information through the contact form.
02

Fleet Intelligence

What can Fleet Intelligence help us understand?
Fleet Intelligence brings vehicle data into evidence for operational review, including vehicle activity and supported fuel or efficiency measures. Available views depend on the signals, quality and capabilities of your vehicles.
What vehicle data is needed?
Requirements depend on the use case and the vehicle. A readiness review checks your telemetry source, signal availability, time coverage and data quality. Compatibility and supported measures should be confirmed during scoping.
How is missing or incomplete data handled?
Missing, unavailable and unsupported data are treated as distinct states rather than valid zero values. Evidence limitations remain visible, and outputs may be withheld when the available evidence is insufficient.
03

Insurance Intelligence

Does DAIOTA make automated insurance decisions?
No. The current rules-based Behavior Review Score supports human review. It is not an accident probability, actuarial risk estimate, underwriting decision or premium recommendation. Insurance decisions remain with the responsible organization.
What does Evidence Confidence mean?
Evidence Confidence describes the strength of the evidence available for a review. It is separate from the behavior score. Limited or insufficient evidence must be considered when interpreting an output.
04

Data & privacy

How is customer information protected?
Data access, permitted use, identity and evidence lineage are part of the governance review. The applicable access controls, retention arrangements and customer requirements should be confirmed for your deployment. See our Trust & Governance overview or discuss your requirements with us.
What is the difference between Web and Slack?
Web provides a dedicated interface for exploring supported evidence and review context. Private Slack provides a conversational channel for supported workflows. Both channels consume governed product outputs; availability and access depend on the agreed deployment scope.

Pricing & support

How is pricing determined?
Pricing is scoped around Covered Vehicles, the selected Fleet or Insurance module, and the agreed engagement. Pilot scope, data readiness, integration and support requirements are discussed before a proposal is finalized.
How can we get help with setup or another question?
Contact us with your use case and the support you need. Setup, integration responsibilities and ongoing support are agreed as part of the engagement. If your question concerns data access or governance, include that topic in your request.
